The Anchorage Nordic Ski Patrol is a dynamic, all-volunteer group of backcountry and cross country skiers that provides the public with emergency care, rescue services and high quality outdoor education programs. We promote and practice safe outdoor recreation in the wild, natural beauty of Alaska - 

and we have a great time doing it!

Named National Outstanding Nordic Ski Patrol of the Year in 1992 and 2000, we are one of the best nordic patrols in the country. Many of our patrollers have earned top honors as educators and leaders on a statewide, regional and national basis.
