Anchorage Nordic Ski Patrol
TRAINING
The training available through the Anchorage Nordic Ski Patrol and the National Ski Patrol will prepare you to respond to emergencies, ski related accidents and backcountry rescues with an emphasis on patient care and personal survival in a winter environment.
To become a Nordic Ski Patroller, skiing ability is secondary to an interest and willingness to learn the necessary first aid, safety, rescue and winter survival skills. Training is provided by the National Ski Patrol at a nominal cost and it's a great education!
